We had two storms in a week that dumped a lot of rain on us! The river rose last Sunday and Monday and didn't get the chance to really go down much before it rained again on last Thursday. This caused the river to crest in moderate flood stage. No major damage that I am aware of.
In this picture you can usually see rocks on the bottom, it is at the bottom of a dam that is completely flooded over.
It came up over the road this time. Rt 611 is at the tree line and is partially under water also
It wasn't as bad as the floods a few years back when the house broke loose and floated down the river. The house had crashed into the free bridge.

It is a good thing the river has high banks or a lot of people would have been in trouble!
